In September of 2008, Butterfield Kitchen was completed, housing our catering offices, a walk-in café, and our three-thousand square-foot cooking facility. Butterfield Kitchen is the engine of our company; it is where all of our food is created.
Stop by Butterfield Kitchen Café, where we offer the same prepared dishes, sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries, coffee and frozen yogurt that are served at our market. We change our menu a little bit every day to keep things fresh and exciting for our walk-in customers!
Breakfast: Croissants, Muffins, Scones, Yogurt Parfait, Smoked Salmon & Basil with Cream Cheese on a Bagel Stick, Breakfast Sticks - Ham, Cheese, and Salami with Sweet Butter on Ficelle.
Lunch: Signature Sandwiches (6 daily), Salads - Goat Cheese & Beet, Greek Salad, Chicken Caeser, Texas Salad, Turkey Cobb, Spinach Salad and Asian Salad, Homemade Soups and Quiche.
Dessert: Vegan Desserts by Vegan Divas, Cheryl Kleinman Cupcakes and Tate’s of Southampton Desserts.
Snacks: Fresh Fruit, Candies, Chocolate Bars, Teas and Coffee.

Born in the small city of Tandid, Argentina, Domingo Vulcano immigrated to America in 1989. His passion for food and cooking ability quickly landed him positions in many of New York’s finest restaurants. In 1994, Butterfield Market hired Mr. Vulcano as head chef and has never looked back. Praised by many as “the best prepared food chef in New York City,” Vulcano has an exquisite taste for numerous regional cuisines, and the ability to consistently provide new and exciting dishes time and time again.
