Our
prepared food department is one of the best in New York
City (we think its the best!). Prepared fresh daily, we
provide our customers with over 100 sandwich varieties,
more than 20 types of salads, and an endless amount of
home-cooked entreé and side dishes. Butterfield
Market does all its cooking on premises, importing ingredients
from local and foreign venders. Although we have some everyday
specialties, we at Butterfield like to constantly change
our menu, making every visit a brand new experience.

ABOUT
OUR CHEF
Born in the small city of Tandid, Argentina, Domingo Vulcano
immigrated to America in 1989. His passion for food and
cooking experience landed him a position at Graces Market
(71st and 3rd). Lorenzo and Maria's Kitchen (82nd and
3rd Ave), and Marche Madison (74th and Madison). In 1994,
Butterfield Market hired Mr. Vulcano as head chef and
has never looked back. Praised by many as "the best prepared
food chef in New York City," Vulcano has an exquisite
taste for numerous regional cuisines, and the ability
to consistently provide new and exciting dishes time and
time again.
